<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u>Supplies</u></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- paper or paint swatches (shhh don't tell! jk)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Circle template or paper punch (I used 4 diff sizes)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- wooden dowels</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- scissors</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-small hole puncher</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- jewelry circles</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- fishing line</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- pencil (for tracing pattern if you don' t have paper punch)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- glue gun and glue stick (not pictured)</div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbfyzxoz58vxB5blXVfSQEpOgY4FhuOCkl5_yzb89T7nA9-qA6T6a0k0leaos9VCZ7BGZMwLM2s-sP8uhw5_NReu_lIjwEuOvhr840Q1RKNE4hV7Fc5LHiVQc2npUT1kXwD1HyHbOBp1A/s1600/DSC_0657.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbfyzxoz58vxB5blXVfSQEpOgY4FhuOCkl5_yzb89T7nA9-qA6T6a0k0leaos9VCZ7BGZMwLM2s-sP8uhw5_NReu_lIjwEuOvhr840Q1RKNE4hV7Fc5LHiVQc2npUT1kXwD1HyHbOBp1A/s320/DSC_0657.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
First- Punch out your circles. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't have punches so I traced my circle and cute them out by hand. Not gonna lie, this was a little time consuming, but I had a whole week off from work :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfvSBLhrGtSid4pFRGS0ec6-C_waBb-NJj6bBxAar1JeNxpF7xrUo7KrijxnBA_DtycIy90hyphenhyphenv6PvVufbC_Dfa14h92fOXK1R60J0WsGXoSpbkHUlbz0fRHTc2qmA7uVGRl9MK12ikiyU/s1600/DSC_0656.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfvSBLhrGtSid4pFRGS0ec6-C_waBb-NJj6bBxAar1JeNxpF7xrUo7KrijxnBA_DtycIy90hyphenhyphenv6PvVufbC_Dfa14h92fOXK1R60J0WsGXoSpbkHUlbz0fRHTc2qmA7uVGRl9MK12ikiyU/s320/DSC_0656.jpg" width="214" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Second- If you don't have double sided paper or if you use paint swatches, glue 2 of the same size together. This might take a little planning; as far as what colors you have/want to use for which sizes. However, I think this is one of those projects that you can't mess up.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Ozey1QA-DmMjhxJojrvobN6gd5HXaBmOuwKMjg3WtMzM3TB1Je6ypn18WYk-tPLbkUQIFaqidr9eNFtxCDhhH3SU5NusCnkNWxXEPE1jfjUWEXHbONVHUArnCd2xGS9YSGM58EUDXpM/s1600/DSC_0659.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Ozey1QA-DmMjhxJojrvobN6gd5HXaBmOuwKMjg3WtMzM3TB1Je6ypn18WYk-tPLbkUQIFaqidr9eNFtxCDhhH3SU5NusCnkNWxXEPE1jfjUWEXHbONVHUArnCd2xGS9YSGM58EUDXpM/s320/DSC_0659.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYsnybroMCJJlTyv7LG0qxgIc1gcBgbqC3ayOpMQgjiEBg-bdcb4hZkDyIm9aIYiuxG71IPCsaltVhUl9_CH3iLDdvALYVKs-eqK38trAaQ3DHl-FGYNSZAnMN9XgSPvyzyhh3XwL1RiM/s1600/DSC_0661.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYsnybroMCJJlTyv7LG0qxgIc1gcBgbqC3ayOpMQgjiEBg-bdcb4hZkDyIm9aIYiuxG71IPCsaltVhUl9_CH3iLDdvALYVKs-eqK38trAaQ3DHl-FGYNSZAnMN9XgSPvyzyhh3XwL1RiM/s320/DSC_0661.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Third- Once you've glued them all together lay them all out in the order that you want to hang them. Then start hole punching and hooking together. Note that the bottom circle only has one hole and the top circle I hooked 2 silver hoops together to hang on the dowel.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg28QdA5TlyoEt14fHoVM15a0JeKzH4PqSoqWmApAL9sOukRoWpDRs8ahI2D-5sUxObb39rN3VcGN2pqhdd9xxDUCXIILksTuLRTKl1IP8dhjCYbCOmAzBIfDMg8tuya1zHSgyHIzLKLRM/s1600/DSC_0665.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg28QdA5TlyoEt14fHoVM15a0JeKzH4PqSoqWmApAL9sOukRoWpDRs8ahI2D-5sUxObb39rN3VcGN2pqhdd9xxDUCXIILksTuLRTKl1IP8dhjCYbCOmAzBIfDMg8tuya1zHSgyHIzLKLRM/s320/DSC_0665.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glue 2 dowels together as perfectly perpendicular as you can. Once you've got it where you want it, you can go around with extra glue to reinforce it. Then add you circle chains. Notice that the 4 inside chains are 1 circle longer than the 4 outside chains.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<u>Ingredients</u>:<br />
- blank onesies<br />
- fabric (for the tie & vest/suspenders)<br />
- heat n bond<br />
- scissors<br />
- iron<br />
- sewing machine + coordinating thread<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: right;"></div>First things first, wash and dry your fabric + onesies. Next, make some patterns. For mine I used paper; it took me a few tries to get the right sizes. I cut them out and tried them on the onesies.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizeIuIL5nhCkoWASa9ca3TO2aV9LlnJw0JLtqlqiSUlSRa9SxWWG3oUgnqSwr3xJPx2S1zce3LUC-dadx3tPrivHWK0q5w4tnRI3XdnOTUJeZotSTyDo1hn2TOXQjfcIfjOdsNG68SoAY/s1600/DSC_0472.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizeIuIL5nhCkoWASa9ca3TO2aV9LlnJw0JLtqlqiSUlSRa9SxWWG3oUgnqSwr3xJPx2S1zce3LUC-dadx3tPrivHWK0q5w4tnRI3XdnOTUJeZotSTyDo1hn2TOXQjfcIfjOdsNG68SoAY/s320/DSC_0472.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicNFfpp3XbyfU5he7YWwX-x3tzilcIcmZwwS5KCfMgpgOxQtSFfmiI2bbvpUlv_tRZT82kvEnNG7AYWDAsNsUVJFVjXFK_9U2wfTU1OzqNODC71O6BxaqS2Q_W5PS2VEQuDeIUdYnRyGI/s1600/DSC_0474.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicNFfpp3XbyfU5he7YWwX-x3tzilcIcmZwwS5KCfMgpgOxQtSFfmiI2bbvpUlv_tRZT82kvEnNG7AYWDAsNsUVJFVjXFK_9U2wfTU1OzqNODC71O6BxaqS2Q_W5PS2VEQuDeIUdYnRyGI/s320/DSC_0474.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
Lay your patterns on the heat n bond to determine how much you'll need. Follow the directions and bond to the fabric. Trace your patterns on the back and cut them out. Iron them in place where desired.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNsWNMTn2gNJ1vUFJ0wUl7Qo41XvvdZ-uX8Z2a5lXw1jB9N33lw_ERs23Nks0A0Iaiubr6ZiQZyVl3qf_57ywt44OKdEXWXMANCSxmCpDuqvNVoOh4IGNSmgpalx5dLutxT-2Bso2c5t4/s1600/DSC_0476.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNsWNMTn2gNJ1vUFJ0wUl7Qo41XvvdZ-uX8Z2a5lXw1jB9N33lw_ERs23Nks0A0Iaiubr6ZiQZyVl3qf_57ywt44OKdEXWXMANCSxmCpDuqvNVoOh4IGNSmgpalx5dLutxT-2Bso2c5t4/s320/DSC_0476.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Stitch around close to the edge of the tie and vest/suspenders. You can use a zig zag stitch if you want. I used a straight stitch (which I though was easier, because I still consider myself a beginner). Optional- add a few buttons to the vest.<br />
<br />

Made these MOSS POTS for a church dinner party last month. Went with a sophisticated "garden party" look. We used fresh white flowers and fruit from the gardens of many sisters. Put a little pot of moss at each place setting... thanks to <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/goodthings/mini-terrarium-place-cards">Martha</a> for the idea. Covered each pot with a glass, so it looked like a mini terrarium. Instead of using the pots for name cards, the tags read <b>charity </b>to go with the theme {Charity Never Faileth}. In case you were wondering, we had a salad & potato bar, served warm homemade rolls... AND enjoyed a slice of chocolate texas sheet cake covered with whip cream & chocolate shavings on top!<div><div><br /></div><div>To make your own MOSS POTS, you will need:</div><div>1 1/2-inch terra-cotta pots</div><div>bag of floral sheet moss</div><div>twigs</div><div>print out name cards/tags</div><div>glue gun<br /><div><br /><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBigdbbcxiJ-EsIXYg5qeDMmZtUw1WE3QBf-xTYPwLb7dVni9orpxNa7ClQv3g3ai5gUB7ZnoYGvVWpy9z0Eudut0EQBj7xzRy99y6iTLYU5ryVcmyiDT3oL14-H6Sdml3Np-l0H7408c/s320/moss+pot+steps.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5594417280959789378" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span></div><div><div>Step 1. </div>It's about time for a new project!!! I am a little obsessed with these pillows :) They're actually covers; I was a little sick of a few of my pillows, so I made covers for them instead of throwing them out. And I am aware that it doesn't spell anything.. they stand for Scott + Lyndsey <3 <3 <3<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwhKi6Wahu8p3ClQrhCl2kh1ybQvpVSV2VDfoPmWtcSmURh87SbYHAJNH8TZbDZNSjK5e7AEvOINVA_wfkSUlU9V5r9AhAwnkDEGWhBWhmHx_6LDBPqJF-ay1rIN4J_PzWw2YEuPbQXQ8/s1600/DSC_0465.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwhKi6Wahu8p3ClQrhCl2kh1ybQvpVSV2VDfoPmWtcSmURh87SbYHAJNH8TZbDZNSjK5e7AEvOINVA_wfkSUlU9V5r9AhAwnkDEGWhBWhmHx_6LDBPqJF-ay1rIN4J_PzWw2YEuPbQXQ8/s320/DSC_0465.jpg" width="214" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
They were really easy to make!<br />
<br />
<u>What I used</u><br />
-fabric (cream canvas & black cotton)<br />
-heat n bond (lite)<br />
-iron<br />
-scissors<br />
-sewing machine (needle + corresponding thread)<br />
-old pillow (or filling if you want to make a pillow) <br />
<br />
<u><br />
</u><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
Step 1<br />
Measure your pillow. Add an inch (this will be for the front side of the pillow). My pillow was 18.5x18.5 (so I cut my fabric 19.5x19.5). Then for back/envelope side, you're supposed to add 4in to 19.5 (23.5x19.5).. but I didn't have enough fabric to make that big of an envelope (but I made it work anyway!! Click <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhZnHhbcN-Q">here</a> for an easy video tutorial that might explain it better than me :P<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Here's what my pieces looked like cut out</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjemljDIDoTXx9AmMmJNnih_SiQgLr1O7lA9jsu5s15FTG4PWXJ3vojfwANEITyDYXs1dc26DBTBzwP9Vnqlzk5DgIIYad6-XV2sM39c4fhVCBoAu6W4nBhLnxR8XkJGM4YvwnDd19Z-bI/s1600/DSC_0464.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjemljDIDoTXx9AmMmJNnih_SiQgLr1O7lA9jsu5s15FTG4PWXJ3vojfwANEITyDYXs1dc26DBTBzwP9Vnqlzk5DgIIYad6-XV2sM39c4fhVCBoAu6W4nBhLnxR8XkJGM4YvwnDd19Z-bI/s320/DSC_0464.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 2<br />
Print out your letters. I found some free fonts <a href="http://www.fontspace.com/category/Scrabble">here</a>, and some other images <a href="http://www.fuzzimo.com/free-hi-res-wooden-scrabble-letter-tiles/">here</a>. Cut out your letter(s), place them on the heat n bond sheet and cut how much you'll need. Follow the directions for ironing onto your black fabric... Then place your letters face down and trace them. Cut out the letters, peel backing and pin where desired. Iron in place. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt_b_BdMQTfwVtdvmjL-2hnmwBmvRVC0GKgwYCIX1wnttM195X2VuLHUYQ6EqO0QRVZV3vFc6MjJrbrN7G2eXuehVEP-kqQcFchKVuQ_cewGdtkUzoczGCg4dVbP5NHWr607fqtjTqdCY/s1600/DSC_0461.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt_b_BdMQTfwVtdvmjL-2hnmwBmvRVC0GKgwYCIX1wnttM195X2VuLHUYQ6EqO0QRVZV3vFc6MjJrbrN7G2eXuehVEP-kqQcFchKVuQ_cewGdtkUzoczGCg4dVbP5NHWr607fqtjTqdCY/s320/DSC_0461.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"> Sew a straight stitch border close to the edge on your letter & number.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfhRQ-7gl_g9mEg9Sz58fNixw0O4qceHqGBXU_yNiwUSWBZUaqo93EvM1wT2KTNzmOLq8_L0XEBBHnSakt9taqveNAR1PmObiIJj339SH6YoUjutNfE9L65L5OzE8V8f4as8AjxG2jkCM/s1600/DSC_0471.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfhRQ-7gl_g9mEg9Sz58fNixw0O4qceHqGBXU_yNiwUSWBZUaqo93EvM1wT2KTNzmOLq8_L0XEBBHnSakt9taqveNAR1PmObiIJj339SH6YoUjutNfE9L65L5OzE8V8f4as8AjxG2jkCM/s320/DSC_0471.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 3<br />
Fold and pin the edge on the long side of the smaller pieces (for the envelope back). You only need to do this to one side of the piece. See youtube tutorial mentioned above if this is confusing you :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5SHJychUxxMNsj8vNWbKPDUKkaa2-lhyphenhyphenkPqPvFaTOddU3ylRmaYk1l05-hzqU_HDEfh8iMXyGnweoyCOU3m4ryfieW4XEL0E_XA-Gh1ho-H3hPTicNo6kQmTLuf-9VWdaJPpbpxNAAxc/s1600/DSC_0469.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5SHJychUxxMNsj8vNWbKPDUKkaa2-lhyphenhyphenkPqPvFaTOddU3ylRmaYk1l05-hzqU_HDEfh8iMXyGnweoyCOU3m4ryfieW4XEL0E_XA-Gh1ho-H3hPTicNo6kQmTLuf-9VWdaJPpbpxNAAxc/s320/DSC_0469.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Sew</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS_S1X8vj0sCFNPZ7-iJq6FI59O8t_9nGhyphenhyphenFTX9-ffjN-urCwXOyFMIGjJfQS25QxFx9K76a0jMzeHWTlEqm_0yVTlnKTYnhx8wR9obDO6dsisN64X0TGeUaZd891aVXdPCnRRvw2VTFk/s1600/DSC_0474.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS_S1X8vj0sCFNPZ7-iJq6FI59O8t_9nGhyphenhyphenFTX9-ffjN-urCwXOyFMIGjJfQS25QxFx9K76a0jMzeHWTlEqm_0yVTlnKTYnhx8wR9obDO6dsisN64X0TGeUaZd891aVXdPCnRRvw2VTFk/s320/DSC_0474.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 4<br />
Place all your pieces right sides together. The back pieces will overlap a little to let you get your pillow in. Pin and sew 1/2in around all the edges. Don't forget to cut the corners when you're done sewing to make the corners look pretty :) Turn right side out and insert your pillow.<br />
<br />

What you'll need:<br />
- teacup<br />
- spray paint (unless your teacup is already the color you want)<br />
- fabric scrap (size of a dinner plate)<br />
- needle + thread <br />
- poly fil<br />
- hot glue<br />
<br />
Step 1. Find your teacup and spray paint it desired color. I found this one at the thrift store for $.75 :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj64BWQozqFQ6WpIvmEca3P1Bk4lysGobOXykffvbqbRiUq-KTXiHZ7JYbikI3LIdZx-0703YmqKEHqtRd8AbSwl_fMDK4k06CHfsbtgPdgHdeE-bcg-4c3UQ0QUsaxIhCHF81qzc_fLnw/s1600/DSC_0477.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj64BWQozqFQ6WpIvmEca3P1Bk4lysGobOXykffvbqbRiUq-KTXiHZ7JYbikI3LIdZx-0703YmqKEHqtRd8AbSwl_fMDK4k06CHfsbtgPdgHdeE-bcg-4c3UQ0QUsaxIhCHF81qzc_fLnw/s320/DSC_0477.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 2. Cut out your fabric (I had some left over from my tote :) I traced a dinner plate to get this size, but you'll want it 3-4 inches larger than your cup.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7_-geSXy8_IoZIELcFpXmHh2PAOnF6JhwgeSP4GF9guTAluHLx-DMdZWSYbFu1LAow_arazD4rIwpRjC-gVRC53v-nxB9KZDUyd5-0gM3jxWwZafrWkDpxxM5syKNM1qEkEJypxqhdPk/s1600/DSC_0481.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7_-geSXy8_IoZIELcFpXmHh2PAOnF6JhwgeSP4GF9guTAluHLx-DMdZWSYbFu1LAow_arazD4rIwpRjC-gVRC53v-nxB9KZDUyd5-0gM3jxWwZafrWkDpxxM5syKNM1qEkEJypxqhdPk/s320/DSC_0481.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 3. Do a large running stitch about a 1/2 inch from the edge of the fabric. Then fill it with the poly fil. Tighten the thread and close off with a few stitches that go all the way through.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRarYIwGQwozSXkElPm0zpehds_fOkRsYBCrhKGjaDjQGNOg7sHUHDvaEdop4OBTDMXXswu1-cxc-xK1Y2OKSRGSYyEL1vgtMgKnPCDBanDQcZrAFAPUhi2xDkNFDM1-Jqa3qzFpH-yd4/s1600/DSC_0489.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRarYIwGQwozSXkElPm0zpehds_fOkRsYBCrhKGjaDjQGNOg7sHUHDvaEdop4OBTDMXXswu1-cxc-xK1Y2OKSRGSYyEL1vgtMgKnPCDBanDQcZrAFAPUhi2xDkNFDM1-Jqa3qzFpH-yd4/s320/DSC_0489.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Step 4. Try in your puff before you put the glue in.. you might need to twist/fold some of the extra fabric that will be the bottom. Next part you'll have to be fast, unless you use another type of glue that gives you more working time. Put some hot glue in the bottom and sides of cup and place cushion where you want it. Hold until the glue cools a little. There you have it!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlhbeAje9OPF6UySB68ZP4eBXCKFpwGrGaPlmZnhLPTR_1m3ouk9h_5McfG9Y-fcLB_zEZ8jdVn6QD3xMygrXr16feF_QmcrMrHVU1OHQwvtRoEreLN9ir-hnr-csuRPRxsjjWaGn-9ys/s1600/DSC_0499.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlhbeAje9OPF6UySB68ZP4eBXCKFpwGrGaPlmZnhLPTR_1m3ouk9h_5McfG9Y-fcLB_zEZ8jdVn6QD3xMygrXr16feF_QmcrMrHVU1OHQwvtRoEreLN9ir-hnr-csuRPRxsjjWaGn-9ys/s320/DSC_0499.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Cute and inexpensive gift idea for mother's day ;)Lyndseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05586337347496590227noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2299760599616908023.post-58846138769258859332011-03-12T22:02:00.003-07:002011-03-16T18:03:54.604-06:00simple {reversible} tote bagThis tote was really fun and easy to make. This was my second sewing project since high school, so you know it's easy :P Click <a href="http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/07/17/how-to-make-a-simple-reversible-totebag/">here</a> for the step by step tutorial.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEqJYZCLgiC4Hra5gnWUGwGbPlWx2-ANYSwoc6Hzj8TvMQLvFprGEYGEnMl3NglSTgVN0_1_QxL0n_gxVYW63lSq-k7qSwHspkUSA1WREgXZf4Zcqn-lVyKA3L8fykOlpS7WcdBUjv7sE/s1600/DSC_0526.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEqJYZCLgiC4Hra5gnWUGwGbPlWx2-ANYSwoc6Hzj8TvMQLvFprGEYGEnMl3NglSTgVN0_1_QxL0n_gxVYW63lSq-k7qSwHspkUSA1WREgXZf4Zcqn-lVyKA3L8fykOlpS7WcdBUjv7sE/s400/DSC_0526.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><br />
I love that it's so customizable.. If you want it bigger, just cut bigger pieces. On the reversible side, I added a pocket.. I am always digging for my phone and chapstick :]<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibct1-uR8KjXhUSKXq4IpySy6t6vSjurNXVX2MXHvRnMWwHzaliDVPZKRKZJGFQuUjodhyGmiG73AN4NDJt8vsOPmmaUvcWbJCf0bVkGkZdCIqxrTMVit9lE17AtbGJGeDoNUsQKtnTEM/s1600/DSC_0523.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibct1-uR8KjXhUSKXq4IpySy6t6vSjurNXVX2MXHvRnMWwHzaliDVPZKRKZJGFQuUjodhyGmiG73AN4NDJt8vsOPmmaUvcWbJCf0bVkGkZdCIqxrTMVit9lE17AtbGJGeDoNUsQKtnTEM/s400/DSC_0523.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><br />
<br />
You could also add some embellishments if you'd like. I can't decide what to put on mine yet.. <br />

-stamp ($1 @Michaels's)<br />
-ink pad <br />

<br />
What I love about this is you can use up some of those paper scraps :) For added detail (if you have a sewing machine), sew a border!<br />

I'm always looking for cute baby shower gift ideas.. Snagged this idea at a craft show last summer. The fun part is you can use anything you want!<br />
<br />
Diaper Cupcake Tutorial:<br />
<u>What I used</u><br />
- newborn diapers (my sister also used socks for variety)<br />
- ribbon<br />
- paper baking cups<br />
- clear elastics<br />
- wash cloths<br />
- confetti strips<br />
- hot glue <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeDMx017mDtA_fhpHyV051wQAZFjY3jyv4jTlHRJopd4jYCFCkwy4HFJkjf1gJ-6gasWwRg9QkD-DccwN8VICKgAcmmiLTeON6qNMeITwTgFPOsnw3Tpw1e5yLslUktfCiNdgnmqhxzTc/s1600/diapers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeDMx017mDtA_fhpHyV051wQAZFjY3jyv4jTlHRJopd4jYCFCkwy4HFJkjf1gJ-6gasWwRg9QkD-DccwN8VICKgAcmmiLTeON6qNMeITwTgFPOsnw3Tpw1e5yLslUktfCiNdgnmqhxzTc/s400/diapers.jpg" width="398" /></a></div><br />
1. Fold diaper long ways and roll up into cupcake shape. Secure with an elastic (little girl hair elastics worked well).<br />
2. Then grab your folded wash cloth and wrap around cupcake bottom. Secure that with ribbon and a dot of hot glue.<br />
3. Tie some ribbon for the cupcake topper.<br />
4. Put confetti strips in baking cup and place finished cupcake on top.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjchP1R9dclGKbpYcn6fHbECL3AlxvAJPdIV6wTQ20IEbFJBltCbpHu6PMCy11RoKyetJUvlpDM9wsYsd2l9osk5-YdvOsCd0Oz0-2OcdseW2jGBDuTeK7XBpbdztKqdy8ReGHtwDjua0g/s1600/dcc.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjchP1R9dclGKbpYcn6fHbECL3AlxvAJPdIV6wTQ20IEbFJBltCbpHu6PMCy11RoKyetJUvlpDM9wsYsd2l9osk5-YdvOsCd0Oz0-2OcdseW2jGBDuTeK7XBpbdztKqdy8ReGHtwDjua0g/s640/dcc.jpg" width="318" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Wrapped Onesie Tutorial:<br />
<u>What I used</u><br />
- onesies (again you could use burp cloths, blankets, etc)<br />
- ribbon<br />

Pretty much the same as above. Fold long ways and roll up! Secure with elastic. Wrap in cellophane and tie sides with ribbon. Cute, cute!!<br />
<br />
I found some cute pink bakers boxes at a cupcake store to put them all in.<br />

I recently made these for my friend's baby shower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiK2DY5u5SuZiOnbYPkQ0cuSZFyqlJVrQd9LgO1aZ0RnFxLCymL5H_lhov6ZlVvEZ6DCohU0S5-iZhri0vS3iPvznkddeBAKsJsu551QDbDz305ZBKlb5L5yjzH7Kwjud_bB2xQVtrZirM/s1600/DSC_0268.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiK2DY5u5SuZiOnbYPkQ0cuSZFyqlJVrQd9LgO1aZ0RnFxLCymL5H_lhov6ZlVvEZ6DCohU0S5-iZhri0vS3iPvznkddeBAKsJsu551QDbDz305ZBKlb5L5yjzH7Kwjud_bB2xQVtrZirM/s400/DSC_0268.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><u><br />
</u><br />
<u>Ingredients I used</u><br />
-Strawberries<br />
-Guittard Old Dutch (chocolate chips)<br />
-Vanilla Drops (white chips)<br />
-Red food coloring<br />
<br />
First wash and dry your lovely strawberries.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV0wZWa90y9Ckj17P4J0iS3YOJjRsN7KEasXPYLODciFPWiM_IRggWEB1HhzmvFsnrt5qh6cNTNPGvQ4Yz53nqxvUWLU8ErLUTXfRoTC1bnTnZo5h-ssu5K4EfZMiUHey_WGAp1dyk2es/s1600/DSC_0231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV0wZWa90y9Ckj17P4J0iS3YOJjRsN7KEasXPYLODciFPWiM_IRggWEB1HhzmvFsnrt5qh6cNTNPGvQ4Yz53nqxvUWLU8ErLUTXfRoTC1bnTnZo5h-ssu5K4EfZMiUHey_WGAp1dyk2es/s400/DSC_0231.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Then melt your chips. I found these at "Kitchen Kneads", but I'm pretty sure you can find some at a craft store or even walmart depending on the time of year. I just used a regular cereal bowl (microwavable) and melted the chips in the microwave 30 sec at a time. For the pink, I just used some white chips and added a drop or two of red food coloring.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6-CT5upe89fujhYgnwUZcPBBgySJZeIn5e-cNe4Ldgg6YWg8pwBOjY1smu8TLoyJonOWeAq9BSzAWCBOK3wc0n-2IeX0V6_spLt0LFBAzRReDaDXHV_yiLBDfsJ48A6qJCi61QSWv0G4/s1600/chips.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6-CT5upe89fujhYgnwUZcPBBgySJZeIn5e-cNe4Ldgg6YWg8pwBOjY1smu8TLoyJonOWeAq9BSzAWCBOK3wc0n-2IeX0V6_spLt0LFBAzRReDaDXHV_yiLBDfsJ48A6qJCi61QSWv0G4/s640/chips.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
Now for the dipping! Pretty self explanatory.. cover the strawberry. Might be useful to have a spoon to help cover. Near the end, I had to tip my bowl to get good coverage. Place in the fridge for a few min before moving on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSBDpjVPAnyWxObtjBaLIKE7IKyN5Rz0-URLe09NEL58ky0Ee5iIjzjxo82lIaqT42jdi1A4uyqLM-9KjHrG269i6W32xUejqfvfLiwF47eJnGrkOlPqx-5XmL7213cOc0tPxqcwElBT8/s1600/dipped.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSBDpjVPAnyWxObtjBaLIKE7IKyN5Rz0-URLe09NEL58ky0Ee5iIjzjxo82lIaqT42jdi1A4uyqLM-9KjHrG269i6W32xUejqfvfLiwF47eJnGrkOlPqx-5XmL7213cOc0tPxqcwElBT8/s640/dipped.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
Last thing.. the drizzle! Melt a few more chips of all the colors you'd like to use (unless you have some extra from the dipping). Place in a ziplock baggie and cut the corner. Drizzle over opposite colors. Note to self: the vanilla stuff comes out a lot faster than the chocolate, so be prepared :P<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGfQ-omm7lL68IN2MDXFOzAWSaOtclll7Ot3bIBek5GEQn3-EJwFdx-84n_aXMEN1LjLdYc42LSr1CJbofYrfddC_kYh4sn9SS-h27sFMIcEkQCkEP5K23JICojC0twzo84OEQqE-MAcM/s1600/drizzle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGfQ-omm7lL68IN2MDXFOzAWSaOtclll7Ot3bIBek5GEQn3-EJwFdx-84n_aXMEN1LjLdYc42LSr1CJbofYrfddC_kYh4sn9SS-h27sFMIcEkQCkEP5K23JICojC0twzo84OEQqE-MAcM/s640/drizzle.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
See, that wasn't so bad! <br />
Pin the sperm on the egg<br />
<br />
-Poster board<br />
-markers<br />
-yarn<br />
<br />
Color/Cut out shapes that resemble an egg and some sperm. For these I traced a bowl and a cookie cutter. Then paper punch a hole and tie some yarn for the tail ;] Pretty easy and funny!<br />

Here's a fun and easy flower that you can add to just about anything. <br />
<br />
Start out by cutting desired width of fabric the entire length of the ream. Keep in mind that the size of your flower will be double the size you cut. For this one I did 1 inch. For a less "fluffy" flower, do a shorter piece of fabric. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPsVrdWaYS1gs5omyWkvtM7NXYGv1EyG-aoGgcjPG1HAa43TLBgn1jG9K57lS9B3Y9UKL8G4bmDYN3qlJLH24zSBTjuq_4ncFlc4BFIUkk0ORe8YIU1PkNXhZg0tg3ZaNCDxNM9j3ksXI/s1600/DSC_0155.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPsVrdWaYS1gs5omyWkvtM7NXYGv1EyG-aoGgcjPG1HAa43TLBgn1jG9K57lS9B3Y9UKL8G4bmDYN3qlJLH24zSBTjuq_4ncFlc4BFIUkk0ORe8YIU1PkNXhZg0tg3ZaNCDxNM9j3ksXI/s400/DSC_0155.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Thread your needle and tie a knot at the end. Then do a running stitch on one side from end to end, lightly pulling as you go.. it will start to curl up as you go.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrFhtl9rNKOo7HqapOyQCSYEJxg3JH3uUnhUfHbKLarQNA6pLvriCm6XiQwDt4VEpDC4kG1Qu0tv8U1nG5LmvOSBufex6Pr6Y8RdaPLdi7qsVqCPPeOcw-1eikxhxQbfE3YUWY1zfVhKU/s1600/DSC_0156.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrFhtl9rNKOo7HqapOyQCSYEJxg3JH3uUnhUfHbKLarQNA6pLvriCm6XiQwDt4VEpDC4kG1Qu0tv8U1nG5LmvOSBufex6Pr6Y8RdaPLdi7qsVqCPPeOcw-1eikxhxQbfE3YUWY1zfVhKU/s400/DSC_0156.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg90lI1AYi3fjGoWz9p5DtSAQDWeaWrIrvbpcm2G-uS_0-nRkMVdcKhPPXyjAxvZGG6TJDf8tLp2lFldT4s_YWIh4U6G79plHXbzvCkh28iDQSITMnXfLdzi1dNb-sgXcLiKw-mSrMci8s/s1600/DSC_0159.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg90lI1AYi3fjGoWz9p5DtSAQDWeaWrIrvbpcm2G-uS_0-nRkMVdcKhPPXyjAxvZGG6TJDf8tLp2lFldT4s_YWIh4U6G79plHXbzvCkh28iDQSITMnXfLdzi1dNb-sgXcLiKw-mSrMci8s/s400/DSC_0159.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
When you get to the end, stitch through all layers so it holds together. For the middle.. You can use whatever you'd like: button, jewel etc. I used some leftover fabric to make a ball, then wrapped/sewed more fabric around it (so it makes a little pin cushion thingy). To each her own :] <br />
Lastly, decide what you want to attach it to.. pin, clip, headband, pillow, whatever!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZAYl2pjutdEYVdEJAdUu5v1NI5FORoa62vlLCbaSs9IO7ePATls3XN-ZGnr8CSHaj_iYp-GZas83JoJQXwmwyKX0zSfH-vzlvPjbZytANhLITwF6KMseI6TodcMl9W5ZD1QnEJicFPWM/s1600/DSC_0160.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZAYl2pjutdEYVdEJAdUu5v1NI5FORoa62vlLCbaSs9IO7ePATls3XN-ZGnr8CSHaj_iYp-GZas83JoJQXwmwyKX0zSfH-vzlvPjbZytANhLITwF6KMseI6TodcMl9W5ZD1QnEJicFPWM/s400/DSC_0160.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
There you have it! Here's a bigger one that I did with a shorter piece of fabric. Let me know if you have any questions :]<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHvCKEBQz9A7mXwwIJ2ekn3h3hwoxuFuGFFs75zrFzueETEUuacsqkuR9yDjUFCqCkkZ-93JyqjYql9-ME641lgEcf-QKIJdO9WYNc5gOzONDsPNJsrYgszNj2rruegswhplHuiHzSIzQ/s1600/DSC_0166.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHvCKEBQz9A7mXwwIJ2ekn3h3hwoxuFuGFFs75zrFzueETEUuacsqkuR9yDjUFCqCkkZ-93JyqjYql9-ME641lgEcf-QKIJdO9WYNc5gOzONDsPNJsrYgszNj2rruegswhplHuiHzSIzQ/s400/DSC_0166.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Romney found this cute Christmas themed paper at the craft store. All she had to do was cut and laminate them. Then we attached magnets on the back of each one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3VSe5n7vZ1XKYe7jQB3pBwjc6AV2tc_0F43tDNYQzWwsuap4OZiq9dOSOj8rAQcST85AP843lOuHxk3X02SANPNInv5Trm-OsHkHNbu20GvyxAkO6u2WTjqHHMEm6Tg9TDpe2INCNrq0/s1600/DSC_0159_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3VSe5n7vZ1XKYe7jQB3pBwjc6AV2tc_0F43tDNYQzWwsuap4OZiq9dOSOj8rAQcST85AP843lOuHxk3X02SANPNInv5Trm-OsHkHNbu20GvyxAkO6u2WTjqHHMEm6Tg9TDpe2INCNrq0/s400/DSC_0159_2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Then she printed off some fun Christmas/winter activities.. We cut them into little strips; folded them and placed one activity behind each magnet. Starting with December first, you and your family can enjoy fun activities as you countdown to Christmas! Some of the activities that were bigger, or took more time could be placed behind the days that fell on the weekend.<br />
<br />

If you don't already have a magnet board.. they sell some at the craft store (usually unfinished).<br />

This was our "no sew" take on these adorable rose cuff bracelets. You can find the original tutorial <a href="http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/2010/04/rose-cuff-bracelet.html">here</a>. </div><br />

We used ribbon instead of felt, and just folded and hot glued the ends so they didn't fray. We also used the adhesive velcro. All the girls in my family wore these for the wedding.. even the little girls had some :] Super cute and super easy!!<br />

<br />
What you'll need</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">-pine cones</div><div style="text-align: left;">-paint</div><div style="text-align: left;">-ribbon</div><div style="text-align: left;">-copper wire</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Directions<br />
<br />
-First, bake the cones on a foil-lined cookie sheet for about 45 minutes to an hour at 200 degrees. This kills any bugs or spider mites that live in them. This also allows the seeds to fall out and sap to dry up.<br />
-Paint your pine cones<br />
-Wrap the wire around the bottom of the cone, slipping the wire between the open scales.<br />
-Tie staggering ribbon lengths to pine cones and tie all together at the top. <br />

First- start out with a plain headband; metal or plastic (whatever works for you and is comfortable). I scored these metal ones <a href="http://www.hair-hardware.com/18-Metal-Headbands-_p_1374.html">here</a>. Hot glue some velcro+felt (same size as the velcro on the backside). You might want a mirror handy to make sure you attach the velcro where you want it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVHoY2NBXwoMtRkeILnrK17jXHzRig_vdMqBS6lvmCv6NAeSyF2imFvA8zTk7lgnwvMblcj_CU4Rv6h6eWGIbzeKv41QxZSLM1cxtfqWDos6Sd9XPL-_Zrua9-G4YfKKLDn00_TwhSZMI/s1600/DSC_0149.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVHoY2NBXwoMtRkeILnrK17jXHzRig_vdMqBS6lvmCv6NAeSyF2imFvA8zTk7lgnwvMblcj_CU4Rv6h6eWGIbzeKv41QxZSLM1cxtfqWDos6Sd9XPL-_Zrua9-G4YfKKLDn00_TwhSZMI/s320/DSC_0149.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Second- make your rosettes (or whatever embellishment you want). Click <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR0wHMvWTzo">here</a> for the super easy tutorial. The thing I love about these is that they don't have to be perfect ;) For these I used hot glue, but fabric glue also works very well. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd4xpVvgAw9BfPjKl1B8g5wFT-vuTcbfk40JlPCwLswOOGtlHJqSOumtWNRjZRhFsvXib6uwT80aaF5LXnkIXsLyuY2mof11RpvRGOLhRVnKaM2XJTgF2qR-4UIgmz9O9cwdnNdQSKo9Y/s1600/DSC_0153.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd4xpVvgAw9BfPjKl1B8g5wFT-vuTcbfk40JlPCwLswOOGtlHJqSOumtWNRjZRhFsvXib6uwT80aaF5LXnkIXsLyuY2mof11RpvRGOLhRVnKaM2XJTgF2qR-4UIgmz9O9cwdnNdQSKo9Y/s320/DSC_0153.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Then attach the fuzzy side of the velcro to your flowers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjganC0VM97SjQzTD2nhwayYxp5SJ6ERdm60EiJvXTha_2Gk_oYsJsB84J0-gR9VERbTojjd1EIShrSa2vppnMxJdU47rB-o50pJSw04ldX1etLmNxf84CMis24YJqxtvJwYu7_ytStctc/s1600/DSC_0154.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjganC0VM97SjQzTD2nhwayYxp5SJ6ERdm60EiJvXTha_2Gk_oYsJsB84J0-gR9VERbTojjd1EIShrSa2vppnMxJdU47rB-o50pJSw04ldX1etLmNxf84CMis24YJqxtvJwYu7_ytStctc/s320/DSC_0154.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> There you have it! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikTqofTOEA8iFPus41TS3C7i2YBk2gu-V4elx0zxozQNCgbB3v9XO7V9ZnwDgGxrpv3x_vPp1Er3OgFaoatv1FIqXteDs3XZTBKAHxyG37tS4EuwCt3-AeYPGhVc7Sq1a7-vNYsujPNWY/s1600/DSC_0156.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikTqofTOEA8iFPus41TS3C7i2YBk2gu-V4elx0zxozQNCgbB3v9XO7V9ZnwDgGxrpv3x_vPp1Er3OgFaoatv1FIqXteDs3XZTBKAHxyG37tS4EuwCt3-AeYPGhVc7Sq1a7-vNYsujPNWY/s320/DSC_0156.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
You can make others to change out. For these I just glued one flower slightly on top of the other one. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgBhw2TugunIQwObxxwAIQFy3AHaCvmdmF_aBN8MZvNGgp_QaVdtfoGKYermawfdWLeL93Kk27sxxpm_d9c5HtXTGf_PI_FXoA1ib7DBar-lihOYwaoNCD-6bZ_o9mlFyYmEHTAF4mhtU/s1600/DSC_0156_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgBhw2TugunIQwObxxwAIQFy3AHaCvmdmF_aBN8MZvNGgp_QaVdtfoGKYermawfdWLeL93Kk27sxxpm_d9c5HtXTGf_PI_FXoA1ib7DBar-lihOYwaoNCD-6bZ_o9mlFyYmEHTAF4mhtU/s320/DSC_0156_2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Here's another example of what you can do. The possibilities are endless!! Have fun :]<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEircSKnxcjh5n2Lc-POkjgdwegiXQW2Rn19abo4mbU3jy465ZZiPz1ah0EDUl0f7TzP6eDihTNA2EGVAi0qSnqgB8EWGBGhyJ55TlILLyMIHMu5fqnBD7S14V0ia2IWJYOZOr6phB0VEzM/s1600/DSC_0353.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEircSKnxcjh5n2Lc-POkjgdwegiXQW2Rn19abo4mbU3jy465ZZiPz1ah0EDUl0f7TzP6eDihTNA2EGVAi0qSnqgB8EWGBGhyJ55TlILLyMIHMu5fqnBD7S14V0ia2IWJYOZOr6phB0VEzM/s320/DSC_0353.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />

I used cream of spinach instead of sautéed spinach and black olives instead of green. My only advice is to cook them in the muffin tin as long as it says.. I got a little impatient and I think that's why they kinda fell apart. Still cute and fun nonetheless!<br />
